We are home from Pennsic!

Much fun was had, and it's great to be home.

In other news, I stumbled across an article about my home town today. Crime is at at 28 year low! The article also quotes my dad.

Has anyone seen a property tax estimator similar to this one for the state of New York? I'm trying to do a compare and contrast between East Lansing and Albany.

I tried googleing it, but either it doesn't exist or I'm using the wrong search terms.

This is the copy I'll be fine-tuning.

You can buy houses in the nicest parts of East Lansing for about the same as you'd pay in middling to bad neighborhoods in Albany.

Edit: We have no current plans to leave the Albany area.

I found out the other day that my high school class is having a 10th reunion this year. Yesterday I confirmed that this would be happening next Saturday, on the 12th. That's right, one week from now.
